We will secure a specialist insulation board to the external walls, slopes, and ceilings of your room in roof. Your loft and/or residual areas will be insulated with mineral wool and access panels installed if required.

Yes. The surveyor will be investigating the condition of the roof- checking if there is any rot or decay of rafters, wall plates, bargeboards and fascias. He will also check if there has been any water penetration into existing insulation. We may have to carry out remedial work before installation or for more specialist work we will recommend you have the roof repairs carried out before we install insulation.

After we’ve assessed your eligibility for funding, your property will have a retrofit assessment survey and a retrofit coordinator will design a plan for your home. We’re not able to give advice until on energy efficiency measures for your home that assessment has taken place.
